My ten month old son has no idea he's going to be a big brother soon. Nevertheless, recently he's developed a keen interest in babies. Namely an interest in hurling his big sister's baby dolls with an umph and grunt generally reserved for heavy lifters at the gym. The implications of this remain unknown.

That's a really funny anecdote - thanks for sharing these moments in addition to your other deeply intellectual and yet so spiritual work!
Do you think he's gonna be a tough guy?
WHAT UP JEM?!? Thanks for stopping by my blog, I had no idea that you had joined the blogosphere yourself. I am thoroughly excited by the chance to stay in touch through virtual means :) We miss you and think of you often.
And holy crap! You're pregnant?? Well, hallelujah and amen! Congratulations! I'm so excited for you. There's a lot of excitement in my comment here.
When I found out I was pregnant, that's what I said! You know it took the longest to get pregnant with my one (out of three) planned children? Actually we were going to go for number three either this year or next year, so we decided on next year, and then duh, happens this year anyway -- gosh, guess that family planning conversation was a waste of time! We should've been talking about where to put another crib! ;)
So just how soon will that little baby brother be coming into the lives of your other little bundles of wonderment?
Baby's due early April. Nika's just itching for a sister, so we're going to find out in a few weeks (to brace her for possible lifelong, totally scarring disappointment.)
